Shell and Conoco POS Integration
While working on White Oak 20, I've found some good info to help. Each White Oak location is either a Conoco or a Shell.
If it's a Conoco:
- The firewall device is a Fortinet switch.
- Our Edge will connect to port 8 (if it's open).
- We can technically use ports 1-8, however, they should have devices connected to 1-7 already.
- If port 8 is unavailable, we need to identify which port has the back office computer connected to it.
- In this case, we will need a dummy switch so we can connect the switch to the back office computer port and connect the back office computer and our Edge to the Switch.
This should give us access to both the Commander, and the cameras.
If it's a Shell:
- These locations use Cybera, so I'm pretty sure they will have Mako routers.
- Follow the KB article on the process with one specific difference.
- The IP we will program our Edge to is 192.168.13.19. That should give us access to the Commander and cameras.
