Once the POS has been installed and the ethernet wires have been plugged into the correct ports, the POS should turn on. (POWER BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT ON THE BACK OF THE MONITOR)  At that point you want to contact Jersey Mike’s Help Desk. (877) 589-5667 Press 4 to speak to a technician. Tell them that you are setting up a new store. You will need to tell them the store number and how many POS systems you are setting up. If everything has been configured before it was shipped, the Jersey Mikes Help Desk member should be able to remotely access the POS. Once they can access it, they will update it and your job there is done.

If Jersey Mike’s Help Desk can’t access the POS, that means the Secure Router wasn’t configured yet... First, send an email to mac@gls.com.  In the subject line put the store number, in the body of the email state that you are ready to setup the Secure Router.  Include your name and number for them to contact you.  The Secure Router needs to be configured to work with the ISP modem and it will need to happen onsite. GLS is the company that configures the secure router.

If they haven't called you or emailed back within 30 min, call them at (866) 558-1920.
They need to configure it to work with the ISP modem. Some changes in the modem may need to happen so someone may need to login to the modem via a laptop to make the proper changes.  Also, if the POS for some reason was configured with a firewall, then that will need to be disabled on the POS terminal. (Windows Button - Settings Cog icon - Windows Firewall - Make sure all the Firewalls are OFF)  Sometimes the PUBLIC firewall has been ON and just needs to be OFF so they can communicate with the POS.
